This Messaging (SMS) Privacy Policy explains how Western Information Technology Services LLC, doing business as WITS IT Services (“WITS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information connected to our SMS text messaging program. It supplements, and does not replace, our general Terms & Conditions, including the SMS / Text Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy sections.

Information We Collect

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from WITS, we collect your mobile phone number, the date, time, and method of your opt-in, and the content of any messages you send us, including replies such as STOP, START, or HELP.

How We Use Your Information

• To send you the conversational messages you opted in to receive.
• To respond to messages you send us, including HELP and STOP requests.
• To maintain records of consent and opt-out status as required by carrier and legal requirements.

Information Sharing

Data Retention & Security

We retain SMS opt-in and message records for as long as needed to operate the program and to demonstrate compliance with carrier and legal requirements, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect that information.

Your Choices

• Opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message at any time. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out.
• Opt back in: Reply START to resume messages.
• Help: Reply HELP to any SMS message, or contact us using the information below.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary; on average, 1–2 messages per month. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes to This Policy

WITS may update this Messaging (SMS) Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are effective when posted to this page.
